Learn the sequences that connect mind and body covering asana/poses that can keep you young, healthy and strong in mind and in body. Taught by Jennifer. |
| Hatha Flow with Pranayama | Hatha flow focuses on various points of the body for strength building and static and dynamic flows to tone and build muscle. There will also be sequences ending with re- centering and breathing. |
| Lunar Flow |
Lunar Flow is a vinyasa style that targets the hips and side body. The poses work with a slower, cooler energy than regular vinyasa classes and are great for building strength and flexibility. The sequences are referred to as moon salutations and have some things in common with well-known sun salutations except that they open the side body and hips more than the front and back body as in sun salutations. The class is designed so that one pose moves right in to another in a flowing sequence of graceful movements. This class is appropriate for students of all ability levels. |
| Deep Relaxation | Deep relaxation, also known as Yoga Nidra, is a guided meditation done primarily while resting on the back to clear the mind and create a relaxed and energized experience in the body. It is suitable for everyone |
| Restorative | This is a class specializing in slow restorative meditative poses. Perfect for the beginner or those recovering from an injury. |
| Partner Yoga | In this class, we will move through playful sequences of partner-assisted poses where one helps the other and double yoga poses where each reflects the other in dynamic and balanced symmetries. This class is for all levels. You can come with a friend, sibling, romantic partner, or anyone! Or come on your own and we will pair you up. The only prerequisite is the ability to laugh and have fun. |
| Gentle Hatha | Gentle Hatha is slower paced to make it more accessible to people of all sizes, ages, and fitness levels. Gentle Yoga is a great place to start for those who just want to take it slower. The focus is on warming up the body, connecting with the breath and beginning to work the joints and glands. It creates an atmosphere of safety and comfort that fosters self-acceptance and self-love. |
| Pilates | Pilates focuses on the CORE: abs, hips, thighs, and butt. This is done through slow and controlled movements combined with even breathing. A strong core equals a stronger body and an overall better quality of life! The workout is an intense yet relaxing way to work that mid-section, and is perfect for people of ALL fitness levels. |
| Vinyasa Flow | Vinyasa Flow literally translated means to "link in a special way." This class focuses on connecting the breath to each movement. A flowing sequence starting with Sun Salutations to build heat and detoxify, be prepared to sweat. The class incorporates poses to build strength and balance while focusing on correct alignment. This is an overall workout for your mind, body and spirit. |
| Zumba | Dance away stress! Come to laugh and move your body in ways that are fun and open the hips up in a different way than your yoga practice. A great blend of Latin music with Latin dance moves and fitness moves combined. Bring your smile and some WATER! |
